. . . Creatively to the point

The Degani Hope Island cafe design was inspired by a nautical theme at the requested by the client.

The cafe has a compact commercial kitchen design with concealed wash up and storage area at the rear of the cafe.

The interior design features a wooden drift boat hanging upside down from the ceiling with white painted timber struts in a wave pattern suspended from the higher ceiling which also conceals the air conditioning and services above.

A striking teal blue floor with complimentary counter tiles and round wall mirrors capture the essence of the nautical theme and creates a light and friendly atmosphere for the dining experience.

Some of the challenges in this design where to work around the 2 large structural columns within the tenancy design so we decided to wrap them in white rope to embrace them as pier style columns which complimented the overall unique design.
